Who we are- The Yuma Story...

Sparks at Work is an Arizona based company. The owner of Sparks at Work and Toot Your Town, Susan Dillon Sternitzke, is a board member of K.I.D.S. CuddleKit Closet, Inc. This non-profit organization in Yuma reaches out to kids in need of kindness. Susan suggested a unique idea to fund their programs during these economically challenged times. The board and staff wrote a children's book about their community and introduced their beloved character, Fuddle the Firefly. The book was illustrated by the incredibly talented Austin Light, based in Charlotte, NC. Austin's website: austinlight.wordpress.com

Within 2 weeks, they had sold all their sponsorships and on June 4th, 10,000 "Fuddle Learns to Cuddle" books arrived. The book was well received by the sponsors, the City of Yuma, the Yuma Visitors Bureau, the press, and the public.

Yuma has shown us the light of how we can introduce other communities to a similar project, and for that we intend to continue supporting them. We will donate a percentage of our revenues to K.I.D.S.
